Plans change in life, and we know that. Thor and Loki are no longer going together. So I put them back out for sale, on Facebook and Hoobly. Thor already has a couple of options, including a family that has 2 huskies already, a senior female, and a 4 month old. The female is a service dog, and the puppy will go to service dog school soon. Thor's other option is our buddy Kody, who has Luna's brother also! Kody and his girlfriend Cady have Krash and Khaos, so they're thinking Krypto! lol
Loki, the adorable teddy bear that she is, is going to the Detroit suburb area, and is headed home with Justine later today :) I look forward to meeting her and learning more about her and Loki's future (probably not as Loki!)....

The Gods Remain
Because I'm into child torture, after Sebastian got up from one round of abuse, I clearly tell him to do it again for video! They are crazy!!! This is Thursday evening.
Now we're down to just Thor (green), Loki (yellow) and Gaia (red). Thor and Loki have another couple of weeks before they go home, which is going to be torture, because these are definitely (besides Gaia) the kids favorite. They will be well loved when they go home!
We hadn't let them outside until after shots, because I'm terrified of Parvo.... the last couple of days, the remaining three have had lots of fun!!!
Forever Homes
Most of our kiddos went to their homes this weekend.... they survived the vet visit (although you would have thought they were killing the boy - the girls took it like champs!!!) on Thursday. Gilly (blue boy) got to go to his house on Thursday, because he will live so close... his kiddos love him already!!!
I "delivered" two in Battle Creek - Zoey (purple girl) and Khaleesi (light pink girl). They didn't like the car ride so much :)
Khaleesi has settled right in, and prefers to sleep under Daddy's chair, instead of her kennel!!!
Dugot (dark pink) got picked up by her momma, and she's going to live all the way up in Hamilton MI (just south of Holland) - she's loving the grass, and sure to love all the snow in her future!
I'm sad to see them all go, but I worked my butt off, and I'm confident that they will have great lives with these great families!!! I can't wait to keep in touch and find out all about them as they grow!!! Love you all!!!

The Dark Side
No, seriously. We cleaned the puppies and their room today - nasty! 7 puppies should not live on gray carpet!!! 2 rounds of vinegar and water later, the carpet is drying. As for the puppies, they smell delightful (like Johnson & Johnson purple baby shampoo!), and are also drying...those cute lovable balls of fluffiness? Not so cute wet!!!!

Plays well with children....
The pups definitely are getting exposure to kids...and our kids are loving every minute of it...mostly :) Sebastian laid on the floor, thinking it would be fun to snuggle. The pups had a different plan!!!

~Play Time~
Absolute insanity! I got all 7 out last night, to play in the living room. In the first 5 minutes, I cleaned up 3 poops :) They were hilarious though, playing with each other, clamoring to get on my lap, and climbing the blanket mountains!
Admittedly, other than little miss Dugot, who curled up and watched most of the madness, the others all ran in together, and it's hard to identify who is who.... but here are some adorable pics anyway!!!

Family Photos
Here are a couple of family photos so far... I think having families come see their puppies makes it easier for our kids (and me!) to realize they aren't OUR puppies... we're just taking care of them until they are ready for their forever homes :)
This week, the Beals/Close family and the Pitcher/Louden family both came to see their babies! I totally stole these pics off their facebook pages! As people come, i'm going to have to remember to get pics!!!

It's been awhile....
I know it's been awhile, and the kids are growing like weeds! Everyone has a home now, including Miss Gaia, who will be joining our family!!!
We went ahead, and expanded their digs... instead of the box in the kitchen, they moved out to our random back room (also known as the man room!). This gives us room to make a potty space, a sleep space, and a eat/play space, as recommended by MistyTrails Mastiffs. I found it here: Dog Breed Info: Potty Training, and have been in email contact with Bev Dorma, who came up with this method. She is an invaluable resource, and has been a great help!!!
This is a quick pic... I still have some work to do on it.... she recommended an under-the-bed tub with pine in it for the pups potty... almost like litter training. They have started using the paper already though!
We also fed them for the first time tonight. A little lick off my finger, and all 7 of them went wild! We're feeding Purina One Smartblend Puppy for Large Breeds. I put it in our Ninja, added warm water, and made a nasty smelling treat that they LOVED!
They scarfed, and went down in a food coma!
I follow up tonight with some super cute snuggle pics that Brian took... I was busy, so he went running for my phone to get these cute sleepy pics!!!
