Babies go to the Doctor

It was shot day Tuesday... of course the day that 3 out of 4 kids are home sick too (the real kids... not the furry ones!). So I loaded Luna and all 7 cleanish pups into the van - shoving 7 puppies into one plastic tub isn't nearly as easy as it used to be!

 And even clean, 7 pups in a plastic tub kind of stinks!

First they checked Luna - her mastitis is clearing up great! The vet asked if we were having on planning another litter - um, no... but we didn't plan on this one either :)
Then Luna proved what a good momma she is by helping me keep the kiddos quiet while the vet & tech asked all their questions.

She has been amazingly patient - even when they climb all over her like little rabid monkeys! (see pic 2!)

All got their first shots and weighed - little chunkers they are! 
Here's a chart (cuz I'm anal) - day 1, day 10, and day 40 (vet day). Murray the chunk weighed in at almost 10 pounds! Chubby girl (CHLOE!) was just over 8, the rest were in the 7's.... even male spot (HAGRID!) - who looks huge, but is skinny minny under his fluff, just like his daddy :)

Lunch time madness

Silly puppies are still working on lunch etiquette! Winter makes sure she gets enough by camping in the middle of the bowl!

Super Models

Wow~ Lots of requests in the last couple of days, which is great! I'm always happy to have people answer my mildly invasive questions without any problems - I'm glad people understand that I'm just taking care of my fluffy kiddos!

Either way, with new requests come new photos - this was a last minute thing, so I'm really sorry, Erika & family and Megan & family - I owe you photo sessions of "Red" & Winter (formerly Heart girl - her family named her & I love it!)

First up is CJ's favorite, Sly Cooper. He has blue eyes, I think - one's darker blue & one's lighter blue!

Next is Eyebrows - he always looks so grumpy! I can't decide if he has brown eyes or bi-eyes....

Murray is the chubster. He also has AMAZING blue eyes... but they always seem to photograph cross-eyed. He's not in person! I swear!

Boy spot is my favorite - I think he's going to be wooly like his daddy - right now, he just looks like a super soft teddy bear!

The last female is chubby girl - she is super sweet, and is a bigger version of sly :) She has a light blue eye and a darker blue eye like Sly also! I can't wait to seem them when they're older!!!
